Slaughter and The Dogs on Captain Oi

Hailing from one of Manchester’s roughest
estates Slaughter & The Dogs were there at the start of Punk and actually
supported the Sex Pistols back in 1976. Led by vocalist Wayne Barrett and
guitarist Mick Rossi they fused Glam Rock with high energy R&B and added a
tad more lyrical reality then some of the Art Punk bands of the day.
"Cranked
Up Really High” and "Where Have All The Boot Boys Gone”, their debut 45’s,
remain two of the movements greatest slices of vinyl and their "Do It Dog
Style” LP is a must have for all followers of the scene. Great live band as
well.
