Eddie and The Hot Rods on Captain Oi

Pre-dating the UK Punk explosion by some 18 months but embraced by the movements founders for their no-frills high energy R&B which gave a much needed shot in the arm to the bloated British Rock scene of the mid 70’s  - Eddie & The Hot Rods at one point threatened to be absolutely massive, selling out major venues across the country and enjoying chart success with albums like "Teenage Depressions” and "Life On The Line”.

They even chalked up hit singles with the likes of "I Might Be Lying”, "Quit This Town” and the seminal anthem "Do Anything You Wanna Do” and in vocalist Barrie Maters they had one of the finest front men that the UK has ever produced.

Every home should have and Eddie And  The Hot Rods album in it!
